Restaurant Forsthaus Barsberge in Seehausen

Unfortunately, we come by like many others on Sundays and every time we want a coffee (Corona also to go). And a bratwurst. Would be wonderful.

I was once again in the restaurant of the forester's house Barsberge, near Seehausen in the Altmark and I am enthusiastic about the hospitality. The ambience is very cozy and stylish. There are delicious foods for many tastes. And if you want to enjoy a walk after your meal, there are many forest paths to choose from. The children can also enjoy themselves in the playground. Since the restaurant is located in a large mixed forest, there is inviting open-air gastronomy with a wide variety of offers when it is warmer. What a beautiful day… After the obligatory “Altmark Wedding Soup”, eat from the very interesting menu. Now the children are gone because they can see white deer and colorful birds in the game reserve. Then the children play on the devices in the playground. Mum still enjoys an ice cream sundae, grandma licks another egg liqueur and dad can enjoy a delicious “Tangermünde beer”. Everything in a wonderful garden with lots of flowers in the middle of the forest. A real refuge that is second to none. The operator and his service staff fulfill every wish. But not only the spacious garden invites you to linger. The restaurant also has various rooms for family celebrations. I will always be happy to stop by here!

New management since May 2019. Very nice hospitality, food was delicious. Our dogs were well supplied with water.

After 20 minutes without seeing a waitress we left. This restaurant is probably not necessary.

A wonderful place for the whole family. There is a large playground next to it and after a 5-minute walk there is a deer enclosure and a bird aviary.

We were at the Barsberge forester's house yesterday. After a long time again. Since the new owners have arrived, everything has been very inviting, clean, tidy, friendly and the food is great. Especially new owners should have a BIG chance to start something new and not get the old reviews pressed on. One thing has nothing to do with the other. It was a very nice afternoon for all of us, lots of leisure activities for children with a large playground, animals to look at and touch and lots of space to run around. We were served and cooked very friendly. DELICIOUS! SO GO TO BARSBERGE AND ENJOY A NICE EXCURSION !!! ❤❤❤ We will definitely be back soon.

Highly Recommended. Super delicious food and very nice and polite "care". The ambience is very nice. Located in the forest with an adjacent playground. Great for families. 😊👍 we like to come here again and again. You can spend the whole day here. Very important: The old recessions still exist .. So be careful!

A wonderful place to relax. The food is super delicious and the team there is very nice and personable. Directly adjacent is a huge playground, as well as an enclosure with deer, so it is also ideal for families. We love to come back again and again.

I can recommend, have had an excellent meal there in 2019. We will be back when hopefully Corona will be over soon.

November 2019 We celebrated our class reunion there. Great food, delicious. Drinks, food and prices are totally recommended. Time limits were set us, we thought that was very nice. Always happy again.

In short .... Do not be fooled by the old reviews ... Unfortunately, there are still old entries available, which pull the entire review in the basement .... We were welcomed friendly. The menu is small but adequate. The food is delicious, the portions large and adequate. A compliment to the kitchen !!! The new team kudos, and much success continues .....
